The rustic whitewashed bookcase is in very good vintage condition. Minor wear. Note, there is a missing shelf and a few decorative broken wicker strands, not apparent at normal view.
The slightly darker areas reveal the natural tan wicker (a bit hard to capture in photos). However, the mid century piece remains structurally sound.
Excellent weathered patina. Detailed braid edging similar to the iconic vintage peacock chair. The natural whitewash finish goes well with natural wicker, bamboo & rattan objects, as well as vibrant colored pieces.
In addition, the 15” depth of the bookcase makes it amazingly utilitarian for storage… vinyl records, creased books, large planters and cherished oversized objects.
